The Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine at University of
Cambridge is inviting applications for junior clinical training
scholarship starting from 1 October 2013. This one year scholarship is
offered high-quality postgraduate training in equine studies. To be
eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must be a member of the
Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons or hold a veterinary degree
qualifying him or her for membership. Applications close on 15 September

Scholarship Description: Applications
are invited from recently qualified veterinarians for this 12 month
post-graduate training programme offering high-quality, post-graduate
training in equine studies. The emphasis will be on gaining practical
clinical experience in equine medicine and surgery under the supervision
of recognised specialists, and will allow the Scholar to identify
specific fields in which to specialise, either in preparation for Senior
Clinical Scholarship training programmes, or specialist private
practice. An applicant must be a Member of the Royal College of
Veterinary Surgeons, or hold a veterinary degree qualifying him or her
for membership.
Number of award(s): 2 positions are offered annually.
Duration of award(s): Scholarship is offered for one year.
What does it cover? Scholarship award is £14,400 per annum.
