Scholarship Description
Jim Ellert MBA Scholarships are intended to attract students from Africa, Central and Eastern Europe (including all former Soviet republics), and the South-Eastern Asian Peninsula (Thailand, Myramar, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia)
Eligibility
Candidates who have already applied to the full-time IMD MBA program and who demonstrate strong financial need (with preference given to women). Candidates will also be considered on the basis of merit as per the quality of their admission application.

Nationals and citizens from the following regions:

• Africa,
• Central and Eastern Europe (including all former Soviet republics), and
• South-Eastern Asian Peninsula (Thailand, Myramar, Cambodia, Loas, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia)

Method of Application
Criteria include:
1) Acceptance into the IMD MBA Program
2) Submitting an essay on: 'Why I would like to do an MBA at IMD' (maximum 500 words)
Candidates will also be considered on the basis of merit as per the quality of their admission application (see website via link below for 'essay template')

Please note:
Applicants are also required to submit an MBA Financial Aid Application Form (see on website via link below). Before applying for the scholarship, you must have applied for admissions using the MBA online application form by any of the following application deadlines: February 1, April 1, June 1, August 1 and September 1.

DEADLINE:
Applications are accepted every year. All applications must reach IMD at the address stipulated (see below under 'Contact') on or before the 30th September of any year of applying.
