Amsterdam Merit Scholarships for Master’s Students in Netherlands, 2014/15 (LL.M.)
University of Amsterdam offers merit scholarships for master’s
students in Netherlands. Scholarships are provided in the field of law.
Outstanding students from outside the European Economic Area can apply
for Amsterdam Merit Scholarships. If the number of applicants exceeds
the number of scholarships that can be awarded, only the most
outstanding candidates will be awarded a scholarship. The scholarship
consists of either € 6000, € 9000 or € 12.000. In the first month of
study the student will be paid €1000. The remainder of the scholarship
will be paid in 12 monthly installments. Application should be submitted
till April 1, 2014 with respect to a scholarship for the academic year
2014-2015.

International Space University MSc Scholarship Program in France, 2014/15
International Space University is offering financial aid to MSc
students who are unable to cover all of their tuition fees. This aid is
available to selected applicants and covers a portion of their
fees. Students from Europe, USA, Canada and developing countries are
eligible to apply for this MSc scholarship. Scholarship is granted on
the basis of academic and professional merit, financial need and
demonstrated financial need. Applicants for the MSc programs 2014-2015
requesting scholarships should apply online on the ISU website before 15
March 2014.

2014 Commonwealth Scholarships for Developing Commonwealth Countries’ Students in UK
UK Department for International Development (DFID)
offers Commonwealth Scholarships for developing countries’ students for
pursuing Master’s, PhD and split-site (PhD) degree level at UK
Universities. Approximately 300 scholarships are awarded each year. The
CSC invites around three times more nominations than scholarships
available – therefore, nominated candidates are not guaranteed to get a
scholarship. There are no quotas for scholarships for any individual
country. The application deadline for these Commonwealth
Scholarships is 3rd December 2013.

Africa’s Land and Food Masters Fellowship Programme in UK, 2014/15
African Fellowship Trust is funding Africa’s Land and Food Masters Fellowship Programme at Royal Agricultural University in UK. Ten fellowships is awarded each year which covers tuition fees, board and accommodation, airfare, incidental costs. ECA Fellowship for Young African Professionals, 2013
ECA is inviting applications from qualified young African
Professionals in the area of new technologies, including ICTs in the
context of new technologies for Development. Applicants from United
Nations Economic Commission for Africa member states are eligible for
this fellowship. Fellowship covers monthly stipend, airfare. Duration of
fellowship is of six months. Qualified women are particularly

CBA-Chevening Scholarship for Commonwealth Developing Countries in UK, 2014/15
The CBA and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office are offering
bursaries for postgraduate media courses at City University London, the
University of East Anglia and the University of Westminster. Eligible
candidates will be full-time staff of CBA’s member organisations (full
members and affiliates) and from developing countries in the
Commonwealth. Three scholarships are offered for the duration of one
year to study at City University London, the University of East Anglia
and the University of Westminster. The Scholarships cover tuition fees
and accommodation and subsistence. Returned airfare must be paid by the
member organization. Online application must be submitted by 1 November
2013.
